- Shell Construction - KMMC lab blenders are standard with type 316 stainless steel contact parts, although type 304 stainless steel or other metals can also be used. In pharmaceutical use, stiffener plates are also stainless steel.
- Discharge Valve - KMMC lab blenders come standard with Tri-Clamp discharge valve. All valves are constructed of type 316 stainless steel. The valves come complete with white neoprene seals.
- Charge Ports - KMMC lab blenders come standard with Tri-Clamp charge ports. Charge ports are constructed of type 316 stainless steel. The charge ports come complete with white neoprene seals.
- Blender Stands - KMMC lab blenders come standard with stainless steel frame (bench-top design).
- Surface Finish - Shell interiors (contact parts) are standard with a #4 (30 to 35 RA/micro inch) finish. Other, more highly polished finishes are options, up to a "Mirror Finish". Shell exteriors are buff. Internal and external shell electro-polish available including passivation upon request.
- Control Packages - KMMC lab blenders are quoted as standard with a prewired control package. This control panel is mounted to the frame of the blender for easy handling. Options include explosion proof motors and intrinsically safe explosion proof pre-wires, etc.
- Safety Guarding - KMMC lab blenders come standard with plexiglass safety guarding.
