Standard with chilled iron (water cooled) rolls, stainless steel apron and drip pan. Stainless steel, ceramic coated, or fully ceramic rolls are options.
Choice of mixing endplates, or endplates that ride on roll surface. Endplates are plastic, with brass as an option.
Fully ansi b177.1-2007 compliant electrical package, with variable roll speed, with WASHUP MODE, with EMERGENCY BRAKING and with NGSIS (nip guard safety interlock system)

Four point manual adjustment (with shear pins). Manual-hydraulic roll set, or electro-hydraulic roll set are options.

Features:

Rolls - The rolls are 2.5” diameter by 5” long on the grinding surface. The inside of the roll is machined concentric to the roll surface to insure uniform cooling and material transfer. Standard rolls are constructed of chilled iron. Options include stainless steel rolls (cooled), ceramic coated rolls (cooled) or fully ceramic coated rolls (not cooled).

Endplates - The mill can be supplied with an endplate system that allows for mixing on the rear nip, or it can be supplied with endplates that ride on the roll surface (non-mixing type). Plastic endplates are standard, with brass endplates as an option.

Drive - The mill is driven by a 0.5HP TEFC inverter duty motor. Electrics are 1/60/115V. Roll speed is variable, with 250 max. Apron roll speed.

Adjustment - The mill is standard with 4 point manual adjustment. Manual-hydraulic or electro-hydraulic roll set are options.

Controls - The mill is fully ANSI B177.1-2007 compliant with variable roll speed, with WASHUP MODE (a very, very slow speed used when cleaning the rolls), with EMERGENCY BRAKING, and with NGSIS (nip guard safety interlock system that monitors mill functions and insures that when the rolls are being cleaned, the WASHUP STICK (in-running nip point guard) is in the rear nip, and the mill is in WASHUP MODE). The control box also includes a digital speed indicator for the apron roll.

Shipping - The standard shipping crate is 22” x 32” x 28” high and gross shipping weight is 175 lbs. Net weight is 122 lbs.
