Details

1-Alexanderwerk granulation/forming machine, Model GA65,. This unit is designed to form distinct cylindrical pellets from moist materials. Granulate is produced in this way as the material is extruded through a perforated die. Depending upon the size of the perforations in the granulating cylinder, a pressure builds inside the perforation and compacts the material to be processed. The extruded densified product is then broken off by a knife blade. The pressure cylinder is coolable. Unit is especially suitable for granulation which possess sufficient free flowing properties in a moist condition. Throughput is 30 to 50 kg/hour. Unit has screw feed hopper to force material to granulation/extrusion chamber. Stainless steel construction for contact parts.
